Podobno jeden z ważniejszych przedstawicieli - nazwijmy to - współczesnego technicznego death metalu, czyli tak jak widać powyżej Decrepit Birth. Zaczęli sobie oni istnieć w 2001 roku i istnieją sobie do dziś. Inicjatorami kapeli byli wokalista Bill Robinson oraz gitarzysta Mike Turner, a na przestrzeni lat skład oczywiście ulegał zmianie. Mają na koncie 4 albumy. Według mnie najlepsze co nagrali to "...And Time Begins" i "Diminishing Beetwen Worlds".

Też debiut uważam za najlepszy - później Panowie za bardzo odjechali w techniczne klimaty w stylu drugiego Necrophagist i dalej. To już mi się nie podoba.
Ciekawe jak ten ostatni.

Debiut właśnie konkret jest. Mocno podjeżdża pod Suffocation i tego typu brutalne/techniczne granie. Jak dla mnie super. Potem faktycznie, poszli w klimaty bliższe Necrophagist, ale jeszcze na "Dimenishing Beetwen Worlds" trzymało się to kupy. Dało się tego z przyjemnością wysłuchać. Dopiero później coś za bardzo poszli w te masturbacje. Ale widzę, że hype na nich jest dosyć duży.

Jadę z Axis Mundi. Wiem, stare. Ale tak to jest, jak jest masę nowości...
Oj mocno Suffo tu czuć. Nie jest to moja podstawowa forma DM. Ale mają chłopaki talent do technicznego grania bez nadmiernego zagęszczenia. Świetne solosa, w tle klawisze w początku Spiti Guide? Rozbudowane kompozycje aż się proszą o takie pasaże. Otwieram piwo i wchłaniam tę płytę. Wieczór to idealny czas na takie granie. Spokojne docenienie, bo ciągu dnia uleci ta dynamika i zagęszczenie.
Niemniej wolę Nile. Ale nie ma co lekceważyć DB. Perkusja jest bezbłędna.

A w ogóle kolesie pizgają tu kower Oriona Metallica i jest zajebiście. Jestem hiper niepoprawnym wielbicielem trójeczki Mety zatem takie smaczki zawsze doceniam. Odegrany w ich tonacji, ale z poszanowaniem oryginału.
